This all started as a joke — poking fun at how much of a caricature New York had become. Now we’re making shirts in total earnest.

People love to label New York. They’ll call it a melting pot, a place to chase dreams, a place to be free. But none of that really fits.

New York isn’t any one thing. New York is just New York.

That’s the whole point.
